welcome to my site.
I want to make sense of how people make sense of things — how does stuff that starts out as mere information become meaningful in our minds? you could probably use the image at left to identify me in person.
following a nearly two-decade stint as a child based in Scottsdale, AZ, I took up Neurobiology and Statistics at Harvard College, where I graduated in 2010. in 2016, i received my PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Princeton University, before moving to Stanford University for a postdoc.
I am now an Assistant Professor of Psychology at UC San Diego, where I direct the Cognitive Tools Lab. Please visit our website to learn more about our research.
